Hi,

 

Muffin one of our Frizzles has been popping in & out of the quite regularly.

She will stay in the nest box for quite a few hours, come out have some food, range with the

others for a little while then go back inside the next box! She is around 26 weeks now & no eggs to date, could she perhaps be broody despite no eggs

 

I caught Rhubster in there with her yesterday for a few minutes during the afternoon which was very unusual - you may recall Rhubs has been showing Muffin quite a lot of affection recently too

Nope not broody, but definitely in the mood to start laying

Yep - it's the "shall I shant I" stage of laying

She is very unlikely to be broody if she hasn't started laying.

 

Sounds as if eggs are imminent.
