Lozmk1
Iv searched the shops high and low for Rennet to make yorkshire curd tarts, but am at a loss, i know you can buy it online but im loathe to pay 3 times the cost of something in postage! Also- a friend told me about a slimming world recipe that uses cottage cheese instead?!?! has anyone got the recipe? she's lost it and a google search doesnt fetch anything up. . Cheers. Mrs Frugal
Waitrose sell Rennet in their baking section. I bought some the other week. Good luck!

LJ's Chooks
cant you use bicarb to do the same thing... or epsom salts... my mum never used rennet and made the best traditional yorkshire curd tarts... Lesley
Bicarb is a raising agent and rennet coagulates milk to make a curd so they work in different ways.
craftyhunnypie
Yorkshire curd tarts - you can use cottage cheese that has been blended or pushed through a sieve. Quark will work too. Emma.x
