I have had my chickens since march and i purchased them at around 20 weeks old i think, and i always got 4 eggs but now i only get 3 eggs a day and the ocasional 2. chelsea Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Yep I agree, We are getting less eggs now and have 4 moulters, 3 pure breeds. Egluntyne Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Sounds like moulting is a factor. If they haven't been wormed, you really need to see to this as a matter of urgency. Our recent moulter has a small comb a bit like when she was POL and I don't expect any eggs until it is large and red again.
