4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hey i have had no eggs for a couple of months now from one chicken. I have had my chickens since march and i purchased them at around 20 weeks old i think, and i always got 4 eggs but now i only get 3 eggs a day and the ocasional 2.

 

Please help with this situation

What breeds are the chooks?

 

Pure breeds tend to slow down as it get colder. Also moulting could be a factor......

Yep I agree,

 

We are getting less eggs now and have 4 moulters, 3 pure breeds.

 

Also if they have not been wormed sometimes a course of Flubenvet can kick start them into laying more regularly.

Sounds like moulting is a factor. If they haven't been wormed, you really need to see to this as a matter of urgency. Flubenvet is your best bet.

 

Have you checked around the garden to make sure that they aren'y laying under a shrub?

What is her comb like? Our recent moulter has a small comb a bit like when she was POL and I don't expect any eggs until it is large and red again. Worming would be a good idea regardless if they haven't been done for a while (flubenvet)

Keep them confined to their run, feed good quality pellets, no treats and worm them.
