Thanks for all the reposnses to my previous post.

 

Well this morning I changed from a perspective Chicken keeper to a Chicken Keeper in Waiting.

 

I have gone for the whole Omlet eggperience and a week on Thursday is scheduled to be Chicken day!

I shall have to goto Waterstones now to find a suitable newbie chicken keeper book to pass the time.

I'm already addicted and the chooks only arrived four days ago! A lot of people who have seen the Eglu Cube have been extremely impressed by the design and said it was better than the hen house they used to have "when I wor a lad".

amazon has some good books for second hand prices on chickens, if you have a quick search, if its of any help but congrats, you won't regret it

A really good book is Avoid the Vet - its just a collection of articles from Practical Poultry Magazine really but very helpful if a bt scary! a good beginners book is one in the same range the name of which escapes me!
