BocBoc
OK - so we had three chickens, we lost them, we got four new ones, we've lost two. So, what should we do now? We have an Eglu and run with a run converter ready to go on to make it longer (bought when we had four chooks for a bit of extra space). I'd like some more chooks - a new pair to go with the existing pair would be great but after reading the "new introductions" thread, I'm a bit put off. We don't know anyone with an Eglu going spare and with the dark nights we won't be able to spend time in the evenings helping the girls socialise. Is just pitching two new girls in with our existing two and letting them get on with it a really bad idea? Help!

Sorry - too pushed for time to write loads - I'm sure some one else will reply soon. I'd wait for Spring H
Egluntyne
Ditto. There won't be much in the way of decent stock around at this time of year as breeders are generally winding down now anyway.
