Lavenders_Blue
Well as the title suggests I am really rather pleased with myself. Hubby and I spent last weekend turfing the garden as we had just bare earth (which is how the builders kindly left it when we moved in ) Since then the girls have been confined to barracks so as not to wreak devastation on the newly laid turf. They have been MOST displeased about this. I had ordered some netting with a view to LSH and I quickly putting it up before the turfing began to let the girls have the run of (what will eventually be) the flowerbeds, but of course it didn't arrive in time. So yesterday, when the netting finally arrived, I singlehandedly contructed a large pen for them, weaving stakes through the netting, banging them into the ground, making sure it was taut etc etc. And I'm really rather pleased with the result! Even hubby was impressed (or jealous perhaps ) The girls LOVE it and dashed out like prisoners relased from their run when I had finished! Now how long before they try to fly over the top....?? cluckingmad
well done you Our lot took about 8 months before they discovered that they could jump over the fence into the flower beds... once they did however it was of to B and Q for some 2m high trellis!
