batcatz
Hetty is either 27 or 29 weeks old now. If the breeder told me the correct age... Is it from 30 weeks that she might lay or will it be next year? She doesn't crouch, but runs away from me squeaking. She looks like a hen - no wattles, small, but I am suspicious since she jumped up and kicked another hen just like my other Silkie who became a Dave! I could be paranoid. Space Chick
My Silkie must have been around 34 weeks when she first laid, also she was a bit of a bully until she started to crouch, and then she chilled out

coco
I have two Silkie crosses, one laid at about 28 weeks and the other one started laying last week. I think she's about 34 weeks, one of mine has also gone broody though.
