Ziggy
Charlie had his first walk outside today . We're finally allowed out in the big wide world, and no longer confined to the back garden... It went really well, no chewing on the leash at all (which is amazing considering how he'd go at it when practising in the garden), and we went round two blocks, past other dogs, works and a busy road with traffic and buses, before getting home again... He started by pulling madly when we got out of the front door, but that calmed down (with the help of a toy and some frankfurter bits) and we did a fair amount of the walk on a loose leash... I totally enjoyed it . I thought he'd pull much more and I was ready not to be able to go past the next few houses from having to stop all the time for him to not pull, but we went quite a bit further and he seemed to be enjoying it... He wasn't too interested or worried about other dogs, but he pulled whenever seeing other people... I think he believes the purpose of humans is to walk around with frankfurter bits in their pockets to feed to him .

The Dogmother
Oh but everyone DOES want to say hello to him! You'll never make any progress if you go down the road with a puppy; they're show-stoppers
