Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi i want to put on an avatar but every picture and photo i find is way over 11 KiB. i dont understand how some people get photos as their avatar because they're all too big. How do i get an avatar when all pictures are way too big??

you need to resize it

 

do you have any graphics type software?, if you do, resize the image size (in pixels) it should make it smaller.

 

or, go hunting in google images (or something similar, kids at school use bing now) for a small image - you can use the bar at the top to filter out the smaller file sizes.

I used adobe fireworks to shrink it down but no matter how small it was, it was still over 11kib! ill try doing it on ms paint. shouldn't be as much kib as on fireworks

Yay. I managed to do it on ms paint. now my avatar is of my 3 lovely girls with their bums in the air. lol

When it says the size is over 10KiB it means the file size, not the dimentions, are too big. To get round this, put the link to you picture into the link to offsite bit.

That's where having a 10 or 12 year old comes in handy ......I have no idea but they do DD sorted mine
