Today I finally got my very first chocolate brown egg from my Welsummer Winnie.. She must be 8 months old and I was positive she wouldn't lay now until the spring but when I checked today, there it was!! And a reasonable size too!

And now not only do I dark brown eggs from Winnie the Welsummer but today I got a beautiful first BLUE egg from Lottie the legbar. That made four eggs today
