chickencam
Oooh might try that, I don't want to think of the calorie content though. I know it's Christmas but..... I am tempted though
Lesley
As they are baked and not fried then they may not be as bad as you think - one of the comments on the site mentioned the low fat content - compared to ordinary ones I presume. You need to look on the Good Food site to see the comments. I was going to make some today as my son will be here - and Clare is popping in - but I got on the scales this morning and have lost a bit more weight...........I think I'll wait to make them. Goosey Lucy
These are yummy having made one batch I'd now adapt the recipe and instead of rolling the dough out then squeezing the edges together round the mincemeat I'd make a ball, open up a hole/cavity, fill with mincemeat and reseal. I found some parts were too much dough and not enough mincemeat for me. Then again I made 12 and 20 minutes later there are only 6 left (OH is home and hungry. As are the boys. I didn't eat them all myself, honest )

kitbag
I made these today with jam and they are so so so yummy! I thought they were going to taste like bread, but they do actually have that donuty sort of taste! When I put the jam in the middle of the dough, I used milk to reseal it, because I found the dough was quite dry!
