Chicken bald back

Hi we just got our 4 hens on tuesday and on thursday 2 of them layed eggs, now we didnt get any eggs yesterday but today we got one. Im a bit confussed though as the hen that I thought layed a white egg on tuesday layed a brown one today is that possible? The hen in question is a speckled star and our other 3 are black stars.

I have had eggs which have varied in shade but never colour, it sounds lke its from a different hen

They can lack pigment if the shell isn't great
