dippy bird
Hi Folks, I have just been and cleaned my chicken coop out (bbbbrrrrrrrrr).I couldn't get the poo tray out as it was frozen solid ,I even poured warm water around the edges but it wouldn't budge.Anyway, I did my best and got as much mess out as I could, and the same with the nesting box.I have noticed though that the inside of the coop was frosty ! I have put extra paper down, extra aubiose and I have also put some straw in the nest box as well.I then put a ground sheet over the whole of the coop(they can all still get in and out), is there anything else I can do to keep them warm as I am now quite worried after seeing the inside so frosty.
