Hi - hubby has asked me to pick your brains!

We desperately need to find a piece of music for our A.G.M pantomime thingy. The men are doing an Egyptian sand dance & want the traditional sort of snake charming sand dance music. But we don't know who it's by or what it is called?

Can someone please help as to what it is & who by? , we do need it quite urgently now.

Someone from our drama group was doing a sand dance and asked me to get the music which was "Wilson Keppel and Betty - Yet Another Sand Dance"

 

To get it from Youtube to your computer, I'd use vidtomp3.com

I remember a song called 'Egyptian Reggae' by Jonathan Richman, from the late 70's/early 80's, that's really good to sand dance to if I remember!

 

It's instrumental too.

We got that by accident - the reggae one. But it's not the cheesy pipe snake charming thing.

Wilson Keppel and Betty usually performed to this music, Egyptian Ballet, by Alexandre Luigini.

I saw them at the Hackney Empire, when I was a toddler. That was in 19 hundred and frozen to death..........
