it.s 3.6 degrees in the WIR so I'm going to sleep better tonight, knowing that the freeze is nearly over!

Yes, we bought a temp sensor from Lidl for £9.99 and it's radio controlled and transmits the temp to an indoor display unit 8) Well I **say** it's 3.6 degrees but I'm not sure how accurate it is ... when I first set it up, the outdoor sensor was lying next to the indoor sensor on the coffee table and they were 3.5 degrees out!

I wonder if I'll end up buying an expensive weather station that works on broadband and reports data back to my laptop... Uh oh! More money!

I have tried in various places out of curiosity.

I have had it under bedding at back by the gap,(covered gap) By the back of nest box,

by the door, AND under chooks.

All very interesting.

The thing to really bear in mind that the Eglu IS insulated, so once it is warm inside it does keep it's heat.

Next time it is REALLY cold watch how the temperature drops once the door is open.

The BEST I have had is 1 degree above the ambient outside temperature.

Sorry just a tad Nerdy :)
