Hello All

One of my ex batts was sitting on her own today the way they do when they are laying a softee, when I looked closely her comp looks a bit strange, one of the tips is going black as if it has worn away and the next little tip is cream the rest of the comb is nice and red. Im not sure if it is just she is getting older or the sign of something else

 

Any comments would be appreciated

Matilda had a black spot on her comb in October time and I just assumed it came from a peck, it shrank but is still there if you look ... doesn't seem to bother her so I've just left it

it is at the tip of the comb, and looks like the red tip has gone and a little bone or what would be there sinew? standing up, could be frostbite, I will watch to see if there is any changes in it
