BERTIE MCSQUIRTY
i was woken at about 1am by the sound of horrific screaming outside our house last night. both myself and mr mcsquirty dashed to the window to look out and we saw some beasties in the road going wild (we have no street lighting) we thought they were boar of some sort, however one ran infront of our opposite neighbours security light and we counted 8 foxes s"Ooops, word censored!"ping! (there could have been more) they were quite viscious but from what i saw - not one was seriously injured. there was one smaller one who was in toe to another (presume mother) and the others were trying to attack it. this commotion went on for about 3/4 of an hour and it was fab watching. luckily they didnt come into my garden (scent of the dog maybe?) but they went into everyone elses around us. glad they didnt really as i didnt fancy chasing off that bunch away from my girls. tonight i am sleeping with the video recorder nearby to try and capture it. Valkyrie
Perhaps they were fighting for mating purposes. The vixens can scream pretty nicely - then they turn on their mate. Or they might be fighting for territory, but I think it's breeding season at the moment.

Valkyrie
Oooh, they can read maps - they've all come to visit the rellies for the new year. You know how young male cousins can get all overexcited.
