Can you get Bumpa bits for bantams?

Recommended Posts

Hi, just wondering if it's possible to buy Bumpa bits for Buff Sussex bantams hens? Their beaks measure 20 mm from tip to nostril.

Dorothy is badly pecking Wendy's head and comb and causing bleeding. I noticed Thursday, bought some Scarper anti- peck spray and applied it on Saturday, sprayed it on again today, much better application this time! If this doesn't resolve the issue, I was going to try Bumpa bits, but they look as if they fit 25mm beaks so would be too long? Any advice welcomed!

Thanks, I think I'll try one on Dorothy, it's worth a go as she's turned vicious. Poor Wendy squeals and cowers, or... which is much better... moves quickly away! Dorothy has only just started laying eggs so maybe she's going through a change, hope it passes! Wendy has been laying for a month now maybe Dorothy was jealous! She was always top hen though, but never nasty until last week. I'll call Wernlas tomorrow.

Hi, Didn't call Wernlas in the end as Dorothy calmed down and both Wendy and Dorothy went broody!
