gooner.girl
Ask Phil he's in charge, but i think it would be great if you joined in - Chelsea and I need someone to challenge us at the top - its all to easy at the moment!
Cate in NZ
YES Dan!! Where have you been?! The girls are at the top of the table, Phil and Martin down the bottom (naturally!) Then maybe I should join in............I'd make things a bit more equal No, you're safe, I only really follow Charlton, and a little bit of Bury & Bolton because that's where I grew up and childhood loyalties are hard to shake off I get more involved in local childrens Sunday leagues with son playing, and hubby's a ref. Guest
YES Dan!! Where have you been?! The girls are at the top of the table, Phil and Martin down the bottom (naturally!) Nightmare! I have been buried at work for 2 months and now my job has moved (so cut me some slack)... Is there any way that the league table could be hacked to let post transfer-window people join in?? Do you think there are more than me who would like to partake? OK - as a special offer this week - any new predictors can join the table with as many points as the bottom two contestants... (aren't I generous!!) so the table is as follows: Chelsea 11 Helen 11 Phil 9 Martin 9 Dan 9 Looney 9 it's 1 point for a correct result (win, draw) 3 pts for a correct score wolves game counts double in Dan's honour!! Shoudl only be 5? yes you have, Martin - but if they had been predicting - they can't have done any worse than you and me could they?? Guest
Count me in too OK Annie - but you do have to make some predictions - or did I miss them in all the excitement?? Phil
gooner.girl
"Ooops, word censored!"ody could do worse then you or Martin, Phil Do you know i'm tempted to copy your predictions Phil, for the rest of the season just so i can stay in front of you and beat you! I'll resist the temptation! Now i think i have to make some predictions don't I?! Ok, thinking cap is on............
gooner.girl
Right... Villa 2 - 1 West Ham Charlton 1 - 2 Chelsea Boro 0 - 3 "Ooops, word censored!"nal Watford 0 - 2 Bolton Wolves 0 - 0 Plymouth Am putting my faith in "Ooops, word censored!"nal tomorrow, *shouts loudly 'don't let me down, my darlings!' Nearly went for a 1-1 Wolves - Plymouth but thought i'd be different to the crowd. 6 pts - that could change a lot of things if someone gets that right! Phil (though, I'll be watching the rugby tomorrow)

Phil (though, I'll be watching the rugby tomorrow) Yeah course i copied you Phil, cos you're so good at this predicting lark aren't you?! I just decided that as they are placed next to each other currently in the table, a draw would be the most likely result.... Not sure about this 6pt malarky. Are we gonna do it every week? I think we ought to predict Henfield Ladies F.C results as well... Yes i might well watch the rugby, rugby players are much fitter then footballers, used to go and watch Quins a lot, lovely thighs.......... Plus i can get behind the England rugby team more easily then the England football team as i don't hate the players so much....
Guest
Not sure about this 6pt malarky. Are we gonna do it every week? I think we ought to predict Henfield Ladies F.C results as well... I've heard they're very good! I don't know if we should do it every week - but I might include a surprise bonus prediction every now and again - just to keep everyone on their toes!! (I will also change "Looney" in the table to "Lorna" - sorry Lorna!! ) Phil
gooner.girl
I've heard they're very good! No need to be sarky Phillip! But yeah, their left winger is quite a player! Not! (actually they have lost their last 2 games - that i didn't play cos i was busy and i think they are a bit narky with me for not being available) Still we have the worst team in the league Sunday and if we don't win by at least 8 goals we will have done pretty pants... AnnieP
OK: Mark Lawrenson eat your heart out... (he always gets it wrong too) Villa 1 - 1 West Ham Charlton 0 - 2 Chelsea Boro 1 - 2 "Ooops, word censored!"nal Watford 0 - 1 Bolton Wolves 0 - 0 Plymouth

I read the report from November 2006 in the Mid Sussex Sport: THERE were some great performances by the area's ladies football teams last week, with newly-formed Henfield probably taking pride of place. They were still smarting from an 8-0 defeat by Adur when they took on the unbeaten leaders in a Cup quarter final tie, which they won 2-1. The remarkable turnaround owed plenty to some important saves by their player-of-the-match Helen Bashford but Henfield showed great character to battle back after falling behind to an Adur goal on 24 minutes. Leigh Farley scored a fine solo equaliser and after the break it was Farley again who struck for a memorable win. (doesn't mention a left winger though....) we expect to read of goals..goals..goals on Sunday then! Phil

Check out http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/Gooner-girl/ wow!! seriously impressed!! great left foot - tremendous pace!! Phil I wouldn't be impressed, what it doesn't say is my right foot is only for standing on and I only have 'tremendous pace' cos i'm up against (generally) largely built, slow defenders every time i play! Anyhow i'm hoping to play all the game tomorrow but cos i have missed so many matches and training i may not, they don't tend to play their best team regardless, just the most committed (i.e not me at the moment - now where was i last Sunday afternoon?! ) Bit of a dilemma over next week, we have a cup semi final but i am suposed to be managing the Haywards Heath Harriers sports hall team in the last fixture of the indoor season... What do i do?!
