Chicken boarders

I think my araucana might be about to lay her first egg. She hasn't crouched yet, but I noticed her voice changed from the grating croak to sound very tuneful like the silkie, oh plus she has been in and out of the eglu today. I wonder.....

 

update: I was right. lol. It's a lovely blue/green 42g egg. Bianca announced it very loudly just now. Bianca already laid her egg this morning so I guessed she might be announcing a new egg from my lavender araucana. lol

sjp, the brown egg is a speckled egg from my speckledy hen. I always preferred the brown and speckled eggs when I used to buy them.
