Plum
Every day Not mine but someone at work and all through winter they have laid like this. She got them POL last summer and at first thought her husband was tricking her. She says they are Rhode Island Reds but I have a feeling they are crossbreeds. She rang the breeder and was told this is quite normal. Anyone else had experience of this? And she says they are all normal large eggs. sjp
I've heard stories of battery hens laying 2 in 24 hours at the lower end of the system but that when the farms play around with the lights so that the hens think thay've had a nights sleep when in fact they've had an hour or two
