Haven't been on the forum for a while and feel really out of it!

 

Conglomeration of the after effects of shingles last year, then the latest MSc module (the asignment for which I have to get in by 25 Feb and I haven't started writing it yet - 4500 words ) and complete mayhem at work with the volume and a major reconfiguration of services! Hopefully, things will even out a bit after this month. Just have the dissertation left

 

Just thought I'd take 5 minutes to say "Hi" and apologise for not keeping up with folks as much as I'd want to.

 

Fur's snowed under with 2 different roles too!

 

We've got big anniversaries this year, so have sevral things lined up to celebrate:

- hol in Switzerland

- Cirque du Soleil

- trip on Tornado from London to Purbeck & back.

 

All because Fur is 60 this month and we have our 25th wedding anniversary in April. Decided on the above instead of big party/ies.

 

Hope to get back online more regularly soon.

I agree with Looney, what lovely things to look forward to. Its our 25th this year too goes by really quickly doesn't it.

 

I love Cirque as well, saw it once in Florida and then in London a couple of years ago, absolutely brilliant. The holiday in Switzerland appeals too. Is that Tornado as in plane tornado?

 

Hope you have a fantastic time in everything you do and hope you've recovered from the shingles.

Tornado is the last A1 Pacific steam loco to be built in this country (built from scratch in the last decade!). Some people may have seen the TV programme about it.

 

It's going from Victoria to Swanage in June, along the reopened branch from Wareham.
