shoura
Just looked at the list in FAQ and see that I have Daffodils, foxgloves, Rhododendrons and Lily of the valley in my garden all of which are on the list Are the chooks generally clever enough to avoid them or am I going to have to dig them up or try and construct some elaborate and no doubt useless contraption to keep the chickens and plants separate? henriette
I am waiting for a reply to your question from someone who knows, as I have never really given it a thought. We are surrounded by Rhododendrons and there are also daffodils, plus in the summer masses of wild foxgloves. I have kept chickens for many years and have never had a problem, but that could mean that I have been lucky.
Egluntyne
I have all of the above in my garden and the hens have managed to avoid them so far.
Tara.F
me too and what's more....my hens lurve to eat my rhubarb leaves, shredding them each year and suffer no ill effects! I trust them now to decide for themselves
