poisonous plants

Recommended Posts

Just looked at the list in FAQ and see that I have Daffodils, foxgloves, Rhododendrons and Lily of the valley in my garden all of which are on the list :(:(

Are the chooks generally clever enough to avoid them or am I going to have to dig them up or try and construct some elaborate and no doubt useless contraption to keep the chickens and plants separate?

I am waiting for a reply to your question from someone who knows, as I have never really given it a thought. We are surrounded by Rhododendrons and there are also daffodils, plus in the summer masses of wild foxgloves. I have kept chickens for many years and have never had a problem, but that could mean that I have been lucky.
