dippy bird
Ok, here goes! I took my 2 year old mindee to the park yesterday morning. As we walked through the gates I saw a couple of lads walking down the path (trackies, hoodies etc),I then heard a girls voice shouting a name and they turned round and shouted sssshhhhhhh! I then saw this girl and a load of lads appear from some bushes, they all surrounded her and then all walked away. They were dealing drugs!!!! I knew who the girl was and she is a local dealer! I was absolutely horrified to see this going on in broad daylight right next to a childrens play area! What do I do? Obviously I can't prove she was dealing, but she is well known for it,and what is worse than that,is, she has a young daughter! OMG,I feel sick to think what that poor little girl must see at home.Where are social services?? Ok rant over.and breathe!
Space Chick
Could you anonymously report it to your local Community Support Officer?
Valkyrie
Don't know what to say - just gobsmacked at the mo! I would have a little word with that nice young constable and say it happened in front of you and you had a little one in tow. Not nice - in daylight (not nice after dark either) in front of youngsters, not on.
chickenanne
OMG! This really shocks me too. As to what to do...? Not sure. You could go to the police, in the hope that they will up the patrols in that area. I doubt they could press charges though. You might find that social services are already involved with the family; they do seem to prefer to keep kids with their parents if at all possible. Really don't know, becuase in your shoes I wouldn't like to just keep quiet about it ("all it takes for evil to prevail is for a few good men to do nothing" etc).... but then, it may be the only real option. dippy bird
I think I will, this happened at about 10.00 yesterday morning! She must have dropped her child at school and then headed to the park to deal! It's vile.
whoopsie
I agree with telling the community police what you saw, that's terrible.
