How many chickens do you think can I keep (part time as they free range 3-4 days a week) in a 62 square ft run? I am thinking of getting 3 more girls, currently 5 are bantams, 1 is a Legbar - the other yet to be decided? Any suggestions?

If thats what I think it is in English...less than 6 sqm I would say no more

Yes, I worked that out as a 5.7 square meter run. No more would be my answer also.

I've got a 64 square foot run with five girls in it. Apart from the two ex batts they are all fairly small, I would love to get more but have to convivnce OH that we need a run extension [again]. mine FR as much as possible during the week and all day at the weekend.
