After seeing all the lovely pics of everybodies new girlies, I've decided that I REALLY need some new chooks and bantams would fit the bill nicely - not that I've seen any in real life, but presume they are half the size of normal chickens . (chicken maths suggests that 4 extra teeny chickens will go unnoticed ) I have an area of around 5 foot by 14 foot which I would make into a permanent walk in run with a raised house - would this be big enough for 4 bantams . Too many foxes etc around to have them free ranging. Then the next questions are what type of bantam is best, where do I get them from, and do they eat the same as big chooks? Won't be able to get them until May/June so have plenty of time to look into suppliers.
