I won't usually go swimming because I have never felt comfortable in traditional costumes and would look scary in a bikini now. However I just ordered a set from lands end which I am really happy with. It has a nice halter neck top and flattering swimming shorts. I have always resented that men can go swimming in shorts - unless they're German of course and wear those tiny trunks -and I had to go in what felt like my underwear.

I can't wait to get back in the water.

I have the latest Land's End catalogue on my lap at the moment, the swimwear looks pretty but well made and supporting

Swim short bikinis are very comfy! I don't actually mind normal bikini's though.

Landsend are the best! Have had loads of things from them, but the most memorable is a pair of shoes, with elastic fastenings. I had worn them for over a year when the elastic snapped. They took them back, and replaced them with a similar pair, even though they were so old and very worn. Have never had one of their costumes, but am very interested to hear how it fares, as although expensive I'm sure it will be great.
