motherhen
Hi Jalfi and welcome A whole 31 days to wait Well at least it will give you time to check out the forum and learn all about hens. You'll be a chicken eggspert even before they arrive
Popcorn
Oh My life - 31 days! How on earth are you going to contain your eggcitement ?

Cinnamon
Hi Jalfi, I am excited for you! We only had to wait 10 days or so, but even that was too long. Only 2 more days to go Keep yourself busy, & the time will go quicker
Guest
We are delaying the happy arrival due to a previously booked holiday , but the eggcitement is building sooooo much we may have to cancel the hols so we can welcome our feathery friends sooner and stay at home & nest build together Still we are getting some very valuable guidance from this forum by you fine folk out there & getting very jealous looking at the fab photo's. PS Cant get enough of these emoticons - sorry
Popcorn
Well Jalfi - you have double the eggcitement. 1 - looking forward to holiday 2 - looking forward to coming home Not many people can say that
Sophieam101
I had to wait 2 weeks before we got our chooks due to a holiday (not that the holiday wasnt great) but the wait was endless and I became a chicken bore talking to anybody that spock english about my to-be chickens
rachel19
I was going to have to wait 4 weeks but the lovely people at omlet could obvously sense my excitement and took pity on me by moving up delivery date by a couple of weeks!!! Would still be waiting otherwise! Lovely, lovely people!!!
Guest
Theres always several ways of looking at things, we should not complain about going on holiday...but 23/9/05 seems to far away. We dare not tell our 2 year old Ollie about the hols or as we think he will explode with the eggcitement...even us 'boring' adults cannot contain ourselves PS I hope our signature works this time
Guest
Yippee!! It works!!
motherhen
Your hens are arriving on a very special day - we are all (well as many as poss) going to try and log on at 4pmish. If you can tear yourself away from your new hens, you'll be able to share all their details with us
Guest
Cool - Sounds great! You will probably hear that we are in a terrible panic with chickens running all over the garden and we are rolling around hysterically laughing and trying to ask for major help Only 4 weeks to go - sounds like a lifetime
Guest
Oppps! Sorry! Forgot to sign in for the one above - never mind I will get the hang of this forum message stuff eventually - well maybe
Mrs Frugal
You will!! It is just a bit different, that's all!! I'm having a job tonight but that's down to a large glass of cider !
Guest
PS Either my watch is wrong or the time logging of these messages is definately not good ol' British Greenwich Mean Time. It is confusing me badly and I know that does not take much, but should I be going to bed or getting up to look for eggs from chickens that we have not even got yet
Mrs Frugal
It's the clock here Jalfi. I don't know how to change it. I'll have to ask James if I can tinker with it because it's SO annoying, isn't it!!
