Raina Posted March 9, 2010 Author Share Posted March 9, 2010 The Chick Crumbs arrived yesterday and the Electric hen (30cm X 30cm) arrived today The cage is an old rat cage that has been disinfected with baby bottle disinfectant then incubator cleaner in RED hot water, the gaps on the cage are half an inch You can click on the pictures to make them bigger! I will be moving the whole thing onto my bedroom floor if any chicks hatch I haven't tried the EH out yet,I have a thing where i don't like to turn electronics on for at least 24 hours if they have come through the post i also need to fiddle with the legs to try and even it out! I keep mine in the house for 1-2 weeks, by which time the dust levels are so much they move into a brick outhouse. You might get fed up with them on your bedroom floor after a few nights!
