Unsecure chicken perches

I am most proud of it and have hung it up and the 2 girls are hiding in the coop.

I gave mine a brussel stalk yesterday and hund it at a different place in the run to normal and now they won`t go to that side of the run. Only problem is their drinker is that side too so they will have to give in at some point.

 

I am sure they will get brave and venture out soon.

it's like ANH and her tyre dustbath, her chooks did not appreciate it..

 

mine got annoyed yesterday becasue we took their tressle, yes ordinary builders tressle, out of their run to use it lololololololololol most unimpressed they were!

Mine behave like that when I offer them cabbage - it doesn't matter how I present it: hanging, odd leaves, chopped up in their green treat dish 'nope, we're not going near that'

Mine have done the same to the half swede I lovingly bought them after reading about it on here. "where's our broccoli, take this away!"

yes mine did that 2 with their home made pecka block! until......Hoover, our dog, decided to eat it then they attacked him and decided to eat it after all

it had been hung there for about 3 weeks without tempting them, previous to this

mine were exactly the same with my home-made peck a block too, i tried hanging it in loads of different places and they still weren't interested in it, so i just put it on the grass and it was gone within a day!

i also remember i gave them some corn on the cob once and hung it up for them and they wouldnt go near it at all, perhaps it's just hanging things.....

they like hanging brocolli. Will go put it on the ground as its still untouched.

I've just put my homemade pecka block in (couldn't figure out how to hang it up) and they've fallen on it as if they've been starved.
