Kit
My older gingernut lays eggs with very yellow yolks and I have noticed that the eggs that my jasmine (legbar hybrid) is very pale. Is this because a) she is young only about 20 weeks b) does not freerange (only started letting them out of wir this weekend) Kit
Ain't Nobody Here
I think it's greens that make the yolks more orangey so it could be because she's not freeranging .
Kit
Thanks ANH, think I will have to put her out Pale yolks just does not look right anymore! Kit
Christian
I believe that dark green veg like kale/cabbage/spinach enhances the yolk colour, so give that a try?
