..lay a little egg for me
I attempted some on Friday using the Nigella recipe from her feast book, they can go with nochucksyet to the troops, not sure I'd even subject the pigs to them I didn't hold out much hope when I put them in, the dough seemed all wrong but I'd already added more liquid. Sending mine to the troops too...they will be well equipped
chickencam
My buns were great this year, they were the River Cottage bread book recipe. I had to add quite a bit of extra flour because the mix was very sticky and wouldn't form a ball. I always cook mine close together so that they join because I love the soft fluffy edge bits. We ate the first five while stuck in traffic on the M5 on Friday afternoon and the others for breakfast on Sunday morning. I will have a go at Kate's recipe, but without the crosses, now that Easter has passed by.
Lesley
I always use the same recipe as Kate - it always works.
