How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

my Oh took Lilly to the VET today as she was lathergic,wobbley and not eating properly. He thinks she probably has enlarged organs including her heart and wants to put her to sleep. The other suggestion he has was it could be an absess and we are going to treat for this with injections for a few days.

Not looking very good.

lilly is still very poorly she is standing still a lot of the time and doesnt seen to want to eat any dried food. im trying her on anything else she will eat including graapes tomatoes and cheese. anything really as she is very thin dont hold out much hope for her really. Dont want to see her suffer.

Poor Lilly, if she is worse than when the vet saw her she may not be responding to the injections and it may be time to make a tough decision about whether it is wise to carry on

I agree with Chucky Mama, if she has got worse, it may be time to say goodbye for her benefit, particularly as the vet wasn't positive to start with

It's really heartbreaking saying goodbye but sometimes it just can't be helped and you know they are not suffering.

Sorry to hear about Lilly

 

I had to take my Gwen to the vet yesterday. She had a massively swollen liver (the vet could see the liver tissue through the swollen skin) and we took the decision to have her put to sleep. She had no quality of life anymore so it was the kindest thing.

we made the decision this morning to put her to sleep She went very peacefully which is all i can ask for.
