At the start of March, I bought the April(!) edition of KG Magazine and telephoned to order the Salad Leaf Collection on 8th March. They debited my Credit Card on this day.

 

Having waited the 28 days and not having received my seeds I phoned them to be told they would be sent out at the end of April !

Surely this is breech of contract and trading/advertising standards? The magaine states 28 days NOT 2 months. Most companies don't take any money until they despatch goods.

 

The next magazine (May edition) is now out and they haven't even dealt with the offers from the previous magazine - I do not think this is acceptable and am very dissapointed.

 

Why can't they send out a few seed packets within the stated 28 days ?

Does anyone else think this is 'unacceptable' these days ?

 

Not life threatening and not large in the great scheme of things but very annoying !!

I'd be annoyed too Hazel, if it says 28 days it should be 28 days surely.

I suppose they're using the excuse 28 days once April actually arrives? So it would be the end of April?

If that's the case though they should make it clear and shouldn't charge your card until then.

It really depends when their 28 days starts I suppose and with a lot of seed offers companies usually write, these will be sent out halfway through April or something. Check the small print of the original offer.

I bought the magazine. I phoned my order in. They took my money. It said 'allow 28 days for delivery' - I don't see why 28 days doesn't start when they took my money !! If not, it could mean anything.

 

I am just impatient - and these things annoy me. H
