phenna_family
Well I tried with the cabbage again this morning, as they wouldnt touch it yesterday. My three girls came out of the eglu and absolutely devoured it, couldnt believe my eyes. I also tried them with some cucumber. I guess they wer'nt fussy eaters after all. Oh and Betty laid her second egg today a little bigger than yesterday, Nellie was very excited about this as so was I and she started calling all over the garden, I had to distract her with a tomato to keep her quiet. Egluntyne
Just cautious I suppose. I bet they had a tentative peck yesterday, realised it wasn't going to bite back, so relaxed and enjoyed it.
