shoura
I'm confused---In the sticky thread about lice/mites, Claret advises to wash chicken in dilute solution of Poultry Shield. In my thread about my chook with sore skin/mucky bottom, Egluntyne has said not to use Poultry shield on the chooks, only on the coops etc---- Can someone straighten me out please!!! chick wiggle
Do they have lice now? If so, the best thing is to spray them with some Johnsons anti mite spray, spray on neck, under wings and vents then agian 5 - 7 days later. I use Poultry shield after cleaning out the cube and eglu, when clean give it a good spray and if you can leave to dry.
Egluntyne
Much as I hate to disagree with Claret, it says distinctly on the bottle that it should not be used directly on the birds, but only on housing and equipment. Try googling for confirmation.
