Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I got my eglu about 4 weeks ago, the feeder it came with - similar to a glug but rectangular instead of round is impossible to open and close. Has anyone else had this problem ?

the grub that should come with the eglu is the same shape as the glug but more enclosed. (see green feeder in pic below) It sounds like the Go feeder if its rectangle maybe call omlet as if it IS the GO feeder then it's wrong.

Yes it's an eglu go - will the other one fit and is it easier to open?

you cannot open the grub that comes with the eglu classic, you can however dishwasher it which is what I do

 

or just wash like you do the Glug

 

I assumed you had the eglu classic, sorry, I am still not used to there being another 'eglu'

Thanks, I edited and we overlapped ! So if I bought a grub would it fit my eglu go ?

I dont have a Go, but here is a pic of the back of the Grub (again look at green)so you can see how it hangs, I would think it would as I would assume omlet would use the same wire for the runs, but I dont know for sure

It looks as if it would - if you don't close the go feeder properly the food leaks out and they make a right mess with it

maybe ask Omlet to exchange it?? they might if you ask? you do have a 30 day no quibble refund so if your still just in that??.. I am not sure if they are able to exhange it for a grub for you.. but wouldn't hurt to ask would it

I have the same problem, so don't open and close it anymore

 

We keep our feed in a big bin, so either scoop the food up with the Go grub, or use a scoop

I have a bin and do the same but my feeder won't close properly now - will ask for an exchange I think.
