Scrapping sussex

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Our lovley girls are now 10-12 weeks & have just started exploring outside the run on sunny days. We are aware of them having to establish their pecking order but it still continues, particularly when they are let loose. Lots of raised hackels, eyeballing & now much more violent pecking & jumping on each other. How long will this go on as one is smaller than the other 2 but they all seem to be at each others throats. Reminds me of me & my sister many years ago!!

Hi

I had this problem with my 3 light sussex bantam girls.

Have a look who is doing the main pecking because form my experience the others stress and take out their frustrations on each other and remove the worst one and see how that goes.

It worked for me, i ahd to rehome 1 of my girls.

Hope it helps.
