ali-s
I have seen a prawn and pasta recipe I would like to try which includes Tzataki. I have no idea what this is or which aisle I would look for it in the supermarket. Any one know? thanks
Ain't Nobody Here
It's a yogurt and cucumber dip. Rather nice with raw veg .
ali-s
Thanks Does it have garlic in it? Andy doesn't like garlic and even the smell of it makes him feel ill
Ain't Nobody Here
Yes, although you may find one without depending on the shop.

Rhapsody
Use plain creme fraiche instead. Frankly shopbought tzatziki is horrid, all mayonaisey and thin, proper stuff is Greek yoghurt, lemon juice, olive oil, shredded cucumber and mint. I make it Cypriot style with a puddle of olive oil on top
Cinnamon
It'll be with the Humous. The Tesco one is OK, the Waitrose one is better.I like it - its great to have as a side to grilled meat, salad & pitta.
