feemcg Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 This morning I thought it was time to replace the kitchen paper with shavings as they are all eating out the feeder (they don't get shavings straight away in case they eat it). So gave them a nice thick layer...and they all started to munch away and even fight over it! Thankfully after a while they decided this new food wasn't tasty enough and decided it was good for.....dustbathing! Couldn't believe my eyes, its the cutest thing to watch, 2 day old chicks dustbathing just like the big ones! They also have tiny tail feathers starting - its amazing how quick they grow.
