I hae decided to go for 2 hen bantam brahma's from Thornes poultry in the summer but do any of you know how much they cost because im on a tight budget ?

They will be reasonably expensive (but worth it) - I paid £25 each for my pure breeds from there

Sorry, someone has just advised me that I spent £70 on my two pure breeds at Thornes (I think I had mentally blocked that out!!)

 

So they were £35 each. Sorry

i don't know about the prices there, but i think you can ring up and ask.

i brought my girls cheap for £20 for a lemon cuckoo pullet, £25 for a splash pullet, and £20 for a buff and white pullet. and then £30 for my pekin x silkies.

they didn't lay untill march 15th, and i had them since december 09. Beautiful girls, and wearth every penny.

No you just took £10 off the price - normal behaviour imo

When I went to Thornes last week (for a look only ) they had LF for sale at £35 and bantams for £30.
