Mrs Frugal
Oh I'd love to go and see Take That but neither LSH or my brother (I'm going with him to see Sting and the boys) would come with me for that .
Guest
Fantastic Kate We have said no more concerts this year, but I have a feeling we may go, especially as it in Brum I love The Police

Mrs Frugal
Fantastic Kate We have said no more concerts this year, but I have a feeling we may go, especially as it in Brum I love The Police Get Dan to go, Debs! You'll love it! It'll be so great!! I went to see them at the NEC in 1983 on their Synchronicity tour and they were fab!
Guest
I don't think we'll be able to resist going Kate I think we could almost class it as an early christmas present

Popcorn
Every little thing she does....was the first 7" I ever bought. I'd love to see them. The cynic in me says Sting has only agreed to a come back as his career has been a bit quiet of late. Still - it's good for the fans. Not a Take That fan here. Sorry Buff. buffie
Ok Gina, Sting wouldn't need to get out of bed after what he's made. I guess it may be more about ego, legacy etc. Hope there's no tantric goings on It wil be fab BBx
The Dogmother
Ooo, that sounds great Kate - I lurve Sting *swoon* I'd like to go to see Scissor Sisters in London this summer - really need to get together with Phil and decide whether we can afford it. Egluntyne
The cynic in me says Sting has only agreed to a come back as his career has been a bit quiet of late. Still - it's good for the fans. I read somewhere that Mrs Sting's spending habits have forced him back on the road. Well you don't get may rainforests to the pound do you? Guest
I heard that too Egluntine I think she has rather expensive tastes
Nicola H
Lucky you kate, my brother went to see Sting a few years ago in Manchester and he said the concert was fantastic even though he was too far away to see him.............
Mrs Frugal
Even though I was waiting with my finger on the mouse button when the tickets were released at 10am this morning, we haven't got brilliant seats. My brother is a member of the fan club so we could get pre-sale tickets but we're still near the back on the lower floor. If I'd been prepared to pay £85 each for the tickets, we'd probably have got better seats but I've got more important things to spend that much money on (....a Mark 3 Eglu springs to mind ) so we'll have to make do. Can't wait though. They were awesome in '83 so after such a long wait, they can only be better!!
Cate in NZ
Kate, how brilliant I'm sure that it'll be a fantastic concert. Well done for getting in so quickly for the tickets.
Guest
Kate, it won't matter where you sit, you'll have a fantastic time
Popcorn
yes I agree Debs, it'll be fab Kate! We always pull the short straw and think we've got bad seats, but when you get there the atmosphere and sound of live music is all that matters. Of course, you've got to be able to have a bit of a looksee at Sting and have a bit of a swoon though... Maybe LSH will put you on his shoulders
