Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

We went to homebase today & a strip of tuft was £3.90

I was tempted to do the same when I went to Homebase last week!! But I did a similar thing....we're 'remodelling' our front garden so we have more growing space. So we took the clumps of cut turf and wedged it into a growbag tray!! It's the girls mini lawn (as the backgarden is paved ) and they seem to love it!
