Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

I quickly poo-pick the nest boxes in the morning (the cheeky monkeys sleep in there ) so I have clean eggs. Then I do a proper poo pick in the evening, I let the big girls out to FR, close the WIR door and lift the divide to give the littlies the run of the run and we have a chat. It takes me ages... not cos it's a long job, but so I can spend time with the girlies The WIR is my equivalent of a bloke's shed

Ooh you lot are very thorough! I poo pick inside the house daily as the girls poop all over it including in the nest box. I give the woodchips in the run an occasional (weekly?) rake as they spend so little time in there and dig the whole lot out about every 3 months.

Not being sexist, or anything, but that's PeckyBeak's job!.

 

She, too, finds it therapeutic, especially when de-pooping the garden and righting the plant pots just before hen-bed-time. They all follow her around like lambs hoping for treats they never get at seed time.

 

Just after the first (biggest) poop of the morning when the girls come down from their cubes, she clears the WIR before they trample it all in the Bedmax.

 

And my new patio is no more...

...looks like a farmyard!
