Do I need anything on the incubater tray?

Recommended Posts

Hi There

Our babies are doing well in the inccy & we have reached day 18 & turned off the self turning mechanism & now are waiting & watching for any little wiggles or noises!

I have read that some people use j cloths on the bottom of the tray & some dont.

The eggs are just on the tray without the dividers but I could put some on the bottom of the tray in if you think its best.

Got the brooder all clean & ready with the heat lamp in place.

3 days seems like a lifetime to wait for me & my very eggsited 12 year old daughter!( who loves emoticons as if you didn't notic!!)

Fingers crossed UI will be posting some pics next week.

Some inccubators have hatching mats already in them, like my Suro.

I put J cloth into my polybox incc to give the chicks some grip and also to mop up any goo in an effort to keep the box clean.

Good luck with your hatching :)

Thanks guys

I'll go & do it now and try to be as quick as I can so the humidity stays.

Can't stop staring at them through the lid...........its like waiting for a kettle to boil, it alsways takes longer if you watch!!
