riane Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I have been cooking up all my veg peelings for the chickens and it was only when I was draining the water from the pan that I wondered if it would be good for the chooks to have? any ideas? Martin B Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I don't see why not as long as it's not too dirty. Mine drink out of the water founatain, and the water in there is not the cleanest. In the wild I suppose they would drink out of puddles maybe! You could use the water in the garden. Don't forget to give the chickens the peelings aswell, if they don't like them bung them into the composter. The peelings not the chickens!
