GGLGirls
Can anyone help with identifying what this lump might be on Garlics left foot - I noticed it this morning, but seems to have appeared from nowhere. I cleaned them out at the weekend and put new Hemcore down, and as Ive put feed and weed on the lawn theyve been very much confined to barracks the last couple of days. I noticed on Monday Garlic had stood in some 'mess' which was stuck to her foot with some hemcore - could she have got something stuck in her foot - any ideas? edit: hmm will work on how to post pic! edit: trickier than i thought need to have access to public web server: backup plan I'll try my best to describeits located in the small webby part (she is a chicken honest) between 1st and 2nd toe on the left foot, looks like the size of a rice krispie but smooth. edit: refer to avatar!!! The Dogmother
All I can advise is that you clean it thoroughly and apply some tea tree oil. Keep an eye on it for an infection though as it will need prompt action with antibiotics if it becomes infected. So check it twice a day for any heat or swelling. Egluntyne
My eyesight isn't good enough to see the detail properly. I echo Claret's advice.
chickyhazel
Antiseptic wound powder is never a bad idea for things like this
