Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone has bought just a cube from Omlet? I need just a cube and Cotswald Chickens have one in stock that I can collect but it does NOT include Glug and Grub. This seems to make sense, as there is no run to attach to, but on the Omlet website, you appear to get these with the cube for £425.00!!!

 

Can anyone confirm, as Omlet are unavilable today??

Yes, as far as I know, those 2 items would be included in the Omlet price.

They were initially when I bought mine. Also, reading the blurb for them, it says in passing that they come as standard with the Cube (but not clear if that means with the run inclusive version)...

...bear in mind, I don't work for Omlet so can't give you a definitive answer. Anyone bought one recently?

Good luck with getting a Cube anyway, let us know what happens!

Confusing isn't it!! Teabag, did you buy a run at the same time as your cube? I will use the cube with a WIR but will still want the food & water feeders, as I will probably sell my other Classic and feeders together. I can collect the cube tomorrow, which would be great - but I want my feeders!!!!!

When I bought my I got the superglug & a grub & a winter shade with it, too. This was 2 years ago.

Same as Jules when we bought ours last year again without the run. Sounds to me like Cotswold Chickens are trying to make some extra ££ by selling the Super Glug and Glug separately.

Will it still be best value though as you'll have to add on P & P costs from Omlet.

Would have cost me £20.00 in diesel anyway to collect, so about the same but at least I get the package from Omlet.

My new only arrived yesterday and came with, grub, superglug, ~20 4egg boxes, assembly instructions, how to keep chickens leaflet. All in 4 large boxes it cost me £425 + £25 delivery

That's just what I needed to know - thanks. I 'phoned Cotswald Chickens and they were adament that the £425.00 was for the cube only, so I'll just go direct to Omlet. How long did it take them to deliver? They said 'within 5 days' but the sooner the better as they will be a bit cosy now I have sold one of the Eglu's!

OOh, I've have to check this out now - I'm hoping to get an eglu from Cotswold Chickens this week, and pick up some new girls while I'm there , and I assumed it would come with glug and grub. Will have to check this out now

Not getting a run though - just had a wir built - so just getting the eglu itself. I know from Omlet this does include a glug and grub - didn't think to ask Cotswold Chickens

Yes, it's a shame as I wanted to go and get my cube today as my girls are getting a bit cosy in the Eglu's since I introduced a Cochin!

Ha! I can't believe my luck (for a change!) Just got one that was put on e-bay this afternoon and hubby is winging his way down the M5 now to collect it! Soooo glad I didn't get the one from Cotswald Chickens! Thanks for all of your help, peeps!
