Am i the only ageing chick whose bloke didnt want chucks but now adores them? I think not - a lady I know - her OH a few weeks ago said "we are not having hens" - I rolled my eyes at a friend and we both thougth yeah yeah - guess what he is - and hes building the house. Another friend is thinking 'bout it and OH's work mate's wife is keen as are 2 other guys. Sorry blokes when it comes to chicks and chucks you are pushovers

Yep, had to promise OH all sorts of things (tsk tsk ,I can almost hear your minds working away!! meaning washing up, laundry  ) before he sighed and gave in to the four lovely omlet girls although he did insist on a (cube green) , rather than the (cube lilac) I fancied..

That was two years ago, the original four were rapidly joined by the ex-batt ladies Millie, Mollie and Martha, closely followed by Freckles, Lilly, Nutmeg and Pumpkin and finally Flo, Etty and Suzie :D And it was dearest OH who said we should look at getting some more girls after Millie, Martha and Maggie all passed away in the past 6 months.

Dear, sweet, wonderful man that he is...*

*and my promises to do the washing up etc were quickly brushed aside as he fell totally in love with them all

My DH has had a few slow work weeks and has 'run out of things to do' :wall: (says she who wants the hall, stairs and landing decorating, and a couple of the bathrooms could do with a new whitewash). He's just announced he needs to keep busy so he is popping some wood preserver stuff on the WIR today - puts those girls ahead of his own wife. I bet he'll be nattering to them big style too.

All together now..........and they call it chooky love.
