She may just have been sitting in the sun and got too hot - mine do that occasionally.

To be on the safe side though, pick her up and examine her - especially her abdomen - be very gentle when you touch it, but it should feel like a soft ball of dough. If it feels hard and turgid like a balloon full of water, then you'd need to take her to the vet as she may have peritonitis.

I have checked her over everything seems fine, i phoned the vets and the chicken person isnt there till monday  but my hubby spoke to a bloke who knows lots and he said if shes acting normal eating, drinking, laying etc then she could just be hot, so i have put some icecubes in for them to play with, and will keep an eye on her over the weekend and just tkae her to vets mon for a check up

Chickens are very good at hiding any illness, but generally a sick chicken will stand apart from the others, will sometimes look hunched, and will not show interest in food and drink, even in treats. If yours is otherwise behaving normally, and is eating and drinking ok, then I wouldn't worry too much - you'll be keeping an eye on her, of course, to see if her behaviour changes.
